Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about saving links with a free, private, ad-free bookmark board that stores data locally in your browser.

Is My Important Stuffs really free?

Yes. The app is completely free with no ads, no premium tiers, and no hidden fees. You can save links and bookmarks without paying or creating an account.

Do you store my bookmarks on a server?

No. Everything you save stays in your browser's local storage on your device. We do not use databases or cloud sync, which keeps your links private and off our servers.

Do I need to sign up or create an account?

No signup is required. Open the site, start saving links immediately, and your cards are stored locally in the browser you use.

How do I back up my saved links?

Click Export CSV in the header to download a backup file. We recommend exporting weekly because data lives only in your browser until you back it up.

Can I import bookmarks from Chrome or another browser?

Yes. Export bookmarks from your browser, organize them into a CSV with columns for title, content, colors, and size, then use Import CSV in the header to load them into your board.

What happens if I clear my browser data?

Clearing browser data or local storage will remove your saved cards unless you have a CSV backup. Always keep an exported copy if your links are important.

Is this better than my browser bookmark bar?

Many people pin this app as their only bookmark and keep hundreds of links organized on a visual board instead of a crowded browser bar. You get color-coded cards, notes, and CSV backups.

Does the app work on mobile and desktop?

Yes. The board is optimized for phones, tablets, and desktops. Cards stretch full width on mobile and use a flexible layout on larger screens.

Can I use this instead of sticky notes for links?

Yes. Instead of pasting URLs into sticky notes or keeping dozens of tabs open, save links on a clean board with titles, colors, and quick access.

Is there any tracking or advertising?

No tracking scripts and no ads. The site is built to be a simple, privacy-respecting tool for saving the links that matter to you.
